Obama said the  uninsured in America was over 30 million. Below is an interesting read for some real numbers on the issue. When you boil it all down, many Americans do not want health insurance, they elect out of their employers plan to save a few bucks every month. So these people really should be removed from the picture. In reality the uninsured in America who would have health insurance if they could afford it may be closer to only 2% of the population.
