General Stanley McChrystal Criticizes Obama

Rolling Stones posted an interview with General McChrystal and in that interview McChrystal is critical of Obama and his administration. Most think he should resign including Glenn Beck.  McChrystal admittedly voted for Obama yet has found himself disenchanted with Obama’s “Change” as many American’s have. I have to disagree with Glenn Beck on the subject of him resigning before issuing such comments on the president. If he had made these remarks after stepping down then they would not have had the impact nor carried as far as they did. He understands strategy, he understands how to weaken the enemy and this was an explosion that was heard around the world. We are living in unprecedented times. A war on our freedoms from within our own government and as such the decorum and the old way of honor is out the window. If our founding fathers had followed the “rules”, we would not be living in “America” That’s how I see it.

As an officer in the military, I respect the presidency; I do not have the same respect for Obama. What has he done to earn my respect? Obama is not a commander; he is an organizer and a mediocre one at that. He and his administration are in way over their heads.

I actually read the Rolling Stone Article. Everything McChrystal and his staff said was paraphrased with only a word or two actually quoted. The article was clearly a hatchet job to show McChrystal in the worst possible light by an anti war author. It was not responsible reporting
